At the end of the periods indicated, the data are blocked, retained solely at the disposal of the authorities for the period provided by law (Article 32 LOPDGDD), and then erased.

Data processed for applications

  • In order to handle applications, the Firm processes identification, contact and civil status data of the client and, where the application so requires, of the client's family members or ancestors (for example, in citizenship applications). These data are provided by the client, who warrants that they are authorised to disclose them.
  • Some applications involve criminal record certificates. Such data are processed exclusively for the engagement entrusted by the data subject, under the responsibility of a lawyer admitted to the Bar, with restricted access and retention limited to the time necessary for the application.
  • Provision of the data requested is necessary for the service to be provided: failing this, the Firm cannot handle the application.

Recipients

  • Authorities and offices competent for each application (consulates, Italian municipalities, Registro Civil, Oficinas de Extranjería, ministries, courts), as well as sworn translators and couriers, where necessary to provide the service.
  • Processors that provide services to the Firm under a contract pursuant to Article 28 GDPR: Zoho Corporation B.V. (client management, with data hosted in the European Union), [DA COMPLETARE: fornitore di hosting del sito] and [DA COMPLETARE: fornitore del servizio di posta elettronica].
  • Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics), only if the user has accepted statistical cookies.

International transfers

Some providers may access the data from third countries: technical staff of the Zoho group (including in India) for support activities, on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission; Google, for website statistics, on the basis of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795) and standard contractual clauses.

Rights of the data subject

The data subject may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and may withdraw any consent given at any time, by writing to legal@tramiteitalia.com. If the data subject considers that the processing does not comply with the applicable legislation, a complaint may be lodged with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

Minors

Minors under 14 years of age may not submit data through the website. Applications concerning minors are requested by their parents or by their legal representatives.

Security

The Firm adopts appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the data, also in view of the professional secrecy by which the responsible lawyer is bound.
